There are a number of airlines that operate business class flights directly from the United Kingdom to Cancun offering business travellers a range of in-flight amenities, access to on board entertainment and specifically created dishes for the business class menus served on board. Flights from the United Kingdom operate to Cancun from London Heathrow, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Flights from the United Kingdom will land in Cancun International Airport when arriving in Mexico – the airport is the second busiest airport that is based in Mexico and is located just 9 miles from the downtown area and 6 miles from the hotel strip.
Cancun offers business travellers a range of attractions to see and experience whilst visiting the city including the interactive aquarium which can be found in the hotel zone of the city and is a modern but small aquarium that allows visitors to see aquatic life up close and personal. The hotel zone, as well as the downtown area is also where most of the shopping places are located including Market 28 which is a great place to pick up some souvenirs whilst La Isla Mall offers visitors the chance to indulge in a variety of bars, restaurants, and designer and boutique stores.
Luckily for business travellers, Cancun is a very easy city to navigate around. The airport is located in the South of the city whilst the North and in between is referred to as Zona Hotelera or the hotel zone where most of the bars, hotels and beaches are situated. Taxis are plentiful in the hotel zone and in the downtown area; taxis are available from the airport to the hotel zone and cost slightly more than those available in the downtown area. It is not recommended to use cars whilst staying in the city as this can create much hassle for travellers.
