Each lounge will be redesigned to mirror the modern style and upgraded amenities currently available at Chicago O’Hare, Boston, London Heathrow, San Diego and Seattle airports, with more seating and design schemes incorporating United’s unique aviation history. The London lounge is a finalist for the 2015 Design Et Al International Yacht & Aviation Awards in the category of ‘Commercial Aviation, First Class Lounge’ and the recent renovations have also been nominated by the American Institute of Architects for the Design Excellence Award for Interior Architecture.
Improved customer service
As part of this new overhaul you can expect to receive the kind of 5-star hospitality you would see in hotels and restaurants. The airline is re-training its staff in a new customer service program throughout 2015 to offer a high-standard of hospitality in all its lounges. You’ll also be able to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi based printing should you need to print any documents before your flight.
